Had to get to the train station for 8am, as the train leaves at 9am. Got to the train station, wow not much of a station, it is just a metal shack, not a station as such. kind of strange, but i suppose i am in the middle of nowhere.
So got onto the train, there is only about 20 people in the compartment. so i managed to get fours seats to myself. turned 2 round to face the other two and had lots and lots of room. sweet as.
We got commentry from darwin all the way through to katherine. wow it was boring, you know one of them monotone voices that is reading from a script. not very nice. so i put some head phones on and just chilled. Finished my book odd thomas. Wow it got to me in the end, i felt so sad. won''t spoil it, but i would recommend anyone to read it. really touching book. got me thinking about a few things.
So the train was ok, as i said lots of room, there was a lounge area, but i had more room with my seats so sat there. didn't do anything. they had shitty music playing all the way through the trip which was rather loud and shit. then they put some film on, good company or something i was going to watch it, but couldn't hear the bloody thing, not because anyone was talking, but they turned down the sound, so they had shitty music playing that was too loud, but when they put a film on you can't hear shit. what is that about.
So played psp, went to sleep. The trip actually seemed quicker then i thought. oh yeah we did stop in katherine, what a shit hole that is. and i tell you what, aboriginies are the butt uglyiest people i have ever had the miss fortune of seeing in my life. there must of been some serious red neck stuff going on there. dam.
Thats all there was, not much i can say about a train journey. should arrive in alice springs tomorrow about 11am.
