2ng August. Boat to Koh Tao.

Wow had to get up real earlier today, 7:30am. Not use to these early morning, well with no work and all play, ian doesn't need to get up in the morning. hahaha. you lot are working, and i am not. (yes i know some are retired, parents!!)

Anyway boat trip was ok, was on the fast boat, which only took 40mins. Was a little worried on the way, because a) i couldn't rememeber who i had booked diving with, b) had no idea where they were, c) they told me i was being picked up from the boat. (hope so)

Actually i got there, there was about 10 people with boards, and i was on none. Saw a sign that said Planet scuba. They name rings a bell, shop was just on the pier so i popped in.
Hurray, i was correct. I had booked in with them for a "open water diving course". Should be fun.

Anyway was shown to the bungalow. not bad, but no Air con, boo boo. Just a big fan, also the tv doens't work. oh well didn't expect to watch my tv anyway.
So start my course at 13:30. Which gave me an hour or so to look round and get some more sleep. need sleep.
slept for a bit, nothing much in koh tao. I am staying in mae haad, which looks like one of the bigger places. this island is so similar to koh pangang, still in paradise. Yeah babie yeah.

This town is the biggest but is still small, basicaly it is 2 roads, that are about 1/5 a mile long. nothing exciting. Thats a good thing, too much partying in koh pangang, if thats possible!!!

So started my course. have been told they have no more books which should arrive tomorrow, so i borrowed there one. Went through the basics, bouyancy, dive equipment, the scuba systems, and the buddy system. Not a particualar hard day, such it will get harder ! hopefully !!!

anyway back to scuba, actually (is it just me or do i say that alot !!) actually !! didn'[t do anything there is 7 people on the course, have been told we will spilt into 2 groups, a 3 and a four. There are 2 couples and 3 single blokes, wonder which one will get put on his own with a couple !!!

so i did chapter 1, 2 today. and we have chapter 3 to do for homework. shame i wanted to read the chapter 1 and 2 tonight, but i didn't get a chance and fell alseep after i did chapter 3.
